Death Threat
The attached death threat was received a few years ago. On Candidates Night, October 28, 2009, the Republican Party candidate asked me if I was going to "behave?" Is this the best advice Mayor Janet Sobkowicz has for those threatened by the local racist goon squad? The mayor is advising we behave better to assuage the goons. River Vale resident, Stacey Karpen, was recently selected by Travelocity as the recipient of a Voluntourism grant. Using this grant money, Stacey will travel to Tanzania to serve as a volunteer working with HIV/AIDS-infected orphans. Stacey is currently in graduate school in Washington, D.C. but notes River Vale is very much her home.  read more
